Gathering places
Around every campfire, every family table, and every celebration, there has always been a place where people come together. At The Fox & The Owl, those places are The Burrow, The Drey, and The Hollow — three gathering rooms designed for celebrations both ordinary and extraordinary.
Why these names? The Burrow, The Drey, and The Hollow are all animal homes, and each room's decor and mood borrows from the real thing. Nature is at the heart of what we do here, and we wanted a little of it indoors — so your gathering feels like a home away from home.

The world is just beginning to stir. The Burrow is warm and cream-toned like the first hour of morning — room to spread out for showers, family celebrations, workshops, and meetings where everyone needs a seat.
It holds a crowd without losing its softness: long tables, a gift corner, a craft station, and chairs pulled a little closer than a banquet hall ever allows.

☼ Afternoon · golden hour of play
High in the branches, life gathers in motion. The Drey wears the green-gold of mid-afternoon — busy, bright, and made for the gatherings with hands and laughter in them, like squirrels gathering treasures.
This is the room for activity: craft tables, party games, team sessions with sticky notes on every surface, and birthday cake at the center of it all.
Up to 24 guests · the lively middle room
Hosting a kids' birthday? That's next door at The Nest, our children's art studio — not this room. The Nest books separately and only on weekends: Saturdays and Sundays, 10am–1pm or 2pm–5pm. Need a different time? Just ask.
☽ Twilight · the hour between
As daylight softens, imagination wakes. The Hollow sits in twilight purple — a threshold between seen and unseen, made for the gatherings where conversation is the whole point: a long dinner, a tea ceremony, a circle of close friends marking something that matters.
Fifteen chairs, low light, and no hurry. Reflection and mystery invite you to pause and dream.

Introductory pricing. Blocks are 9–12, 1:30–4:30, or 6–9. Every booking includes a simple rental agreement covering your time block, with a walkthrough and checkout alongside your room host at the end of your event. Call, text, or email to hold your room and date.

A guided make-and-take led by one of our instructors, matched to your occasion and your guests — from watercolor to wreaths. Request at least 7 business days ahead.
Poured with ceremony
Proper pots, real cups, and a table that invites people to linger. Lovely for showers, tea parties, and The Hollow's quiet hours.
Set to your palette
Linens, layers, and styling in your colors, drawn from our vintage rental collection — the room dressed before you arrive.
A guided reset
An instructor from The Aerie Studio to lead your group in a short guided session — breathwork, gentle movement, or a moment of calm. Inquire about availability.
Someone on point
A coordinator to run your timeline so you can stay in the room, not behind it. For the big days, see our event coordination.

Tablecloth, runner, charger, china plate, fancy glass, napkin, and silverware at every seat — set up and cleared for you.
BYOB is welcome at no charge — bring the bottles that belong at your table. Prefer it handled? We're happy to introduce you to licensed catering partners who can take care of beverages for you.
We're just next door to the grounds that host Bulverde Market Days on the second and fourth Saturdays. Out back, a walkable garden opens beyond The Burrow's porch — down a few steps for guests who want to wander.
