Comal County's best-known venues are built for big, wedding-scale events. The Fox & The Owl, on the US-281 corridor in Bulverde, is a different kind of venue — three private rooms rented by the three-hour block, for gatherings that don't need a ballroom.
The short answer
Yes — if the Comal County venue you're picturing is a large wedding-scale property like Stoney Creek or The Regal, and your event isn't that size, The Fox & The Owl is built for the gathering in between. Three private rooms — The Hollow (up to 15 guests), The Drey (up to 24), and The Burrow (up to 50) — rent in three-hour blocks starting at $250, introductory pricing, with a whole-house option for larger groups. BYOB is welcome at no charge.
We're at 2541 Bulverde Road, on the US-281 corridor in northern Comal County, near Spring Branch and the north side of San Antonio, sharing grounds with Bulverde Market Days on the second and fourth Saturdays. The venue opens in late spring 2027, and we're taking date inquiries now.

Two different scales of venue
If you're planning a large wedding or reception
Comal County's established large venues — places like Stoney Creek and The Regal — are built for big guest counts, full-service catering logistics, and ballroom-scale receptions. If that's your event, book one of them. We mean that.
If your gathering is smaller
A shower, a birthday party, a retreat, a rehearsal dinner, a meeting, or a reception for 15 to 50 guests doesn't need a ballroom — it needs a room that's the right size, rented by the hour or the block, without a banquet-hall minimum.

$250 weekday · $350 weekend
Per three-hour block, introductory pricing. Suited to showers, small meetings, and intimate parties.
Up to 24 guests
$325 weekday · $450 weekend
Per three-hour block, introductory pricing. A middle-size room for birthdays, retreats, and rehearsal dinners.
Up to 50 guests
$375 weekday · $525 weekend
Per three-hour block, introductory pricing. The largest single room, good for co-op days and larger receptions.
